How do you survive home office?
Going out for a walk every day. Even if it is only for 20 minutes. And taking a warm cup of coffee with me on the walk, so the cold temperatures are not an excuse to skip the walk.

The most important for me is to stay active, by walking and using the bike whenever I am outside my home.

Visit the website’s COVID-19 section of a) the community you live in for daily situations, b) the canton you live in for spare time activities, c) the canton your employer is situated for work related topics, d) your sports club and e) the canton you’d like to spend your vacations in.
What is your trick or tip to survive home office?
Set some rules and then enjoy also moments with your family. You probably won’t ever have the chance again to do this in a similar way in the future.

Enjoy being home. Enjoy the kids. Make sure to video call relatives at least once a day. Work around the house.

Set up a dedicated workplace. Define a start and end times. Call up colleagues rather than email to maintain social links. Make sure to get out of the house at least twice a day!

Take the restrictions positively and think that in the near future we will get out of this.

To have our own working space helps. In our case, each member of our family has our own desks either for working, home works and/or home-schooling.
Naturally, a cup of coffee on it always cheers me up : ).

What is your trick or tip to survive home office?
Establish a work routine. Home is filled with distractions and competing responsibilities, so commit to your work time as though you were in the office. But, also, don’t forget to take breaks!
